Hot rolled spring
Large springs, also known as hot-rolled springs, are produced using a hot-rolling process. Parts made of elastic materials deform under external forces and return to their original shape after the external force is removed. They are generally made of spring steel. Large springs typically have a large wire diameter, are easily distorted into shape after heating, and have lower elasticity. After forming, they require quenching and tempering treatment. Large springs can undergo significant elastic deformation under load and are widely used in various types of machinery. Springs are a widely used elastic component in the mechanical and electronic industries. When loaded, springs can produce significant elastic deformation, converting mechanical work or kinetic energy into deformation energy, and when unloaded, the deformation of the spring disappears and returns to its original state, converting deformation energy back into mechanical work or kinetic energy. The important functions of springs include controlling the static state of mechanisms, damping vibrations, buffering, storing and inputting energy, and measuring force magnitude. Large springs have a wide range of applications and can be classified based on the load they bear into helical compression springs, helical extension springs, and helical torsion springs. The end treatment of large springs, such as compressing and grinding the two ends of the spring, ensures that the spring experiences uniform stress during use, which can significantly extend the lifespan of the spring.
Although the spring industry is a small sector within the entire manufacturing industry, its role cannot be underestimated. As an important component in industrial systems, springs have a large usage volume. Moreover, with the continuous expansion of the variety and scale of spring products and the ongoing improvement in quality levels, this also signifies the need for the renewal of mechanical equipment and the enhancement of supporting host performance.
